Designed and field-tested by hunters, our 3-Layer Field Jacket is as fully-featured as they come. The front shell pockets are snap- and gusset-expandable, and easily hold a box of 3” 12-guage shells. Their protective flaps secure with corrosion-proof snaps, which are easily operated with one hand, even gloved, thanks to an ingenious loop attachment. Pocket-bottom grommets allow water drainage if needed. Behind the shell pockets are side-entry hand pockets. Entry to the chest pockets is from the center, so they’re easy to access when wearing a strap vest or backpack. On the inside is a zippered security pocket for valuables such as your license, keys or phone. The back features a zippered game bag, with enough room for a couple of pheasants or a limit of quail. The two-way drawcord-adjustable hood and Velcro®-adjustable cuffs seal out the elements with a custom fit. Final polishing touches include an interior zipper that’s compatible with Filson zip-in liners, and fabric loops on the chest for attaching transmitters, whistles or calls.
